Open House at Fetcham Park

02 May 2018 at Fetcham Park

Explore one of Surrey's best kept secrets

Fetcham Park is delighted to host this special charity event in aid of Perennial, the Gardeners Benevolent Society.

Fetcham Park is a Grade II* listed house built in 1705. After centuries as a private home, in 1999 it became a business centre offering private event hire and offices to local and international businesses.

Historian Vivien White's recent research reveals that the original gardens were the final completed work by the much-celebrated gardener and nurseryman George London, as recently published in Garden History – The Gardens Trust journal.

This is your chance to discover how London's garden would have looked in the early 1700s. Followed by a lively interactive Gardeners' Q&A, with a panel of professional gardeners chaired by BBC garden expert Jean Griffen.

5.30pm - 9pm: the grounds and house are open to the public with donations on the door
7.15pm - 9pm: Vivien White and Q&A session

Tickets for the Q&A are limited and cost £25 (including a glass of wine).
