Tuesday 1 May
The perfect lawn is one of the most common gardening aspirations, yet one of the hardest to achieve. The average lawn provides a habitat for a whole host of creatures. Join the garden team to explore some common lawn problems and what we can do to fix them without using lots of chemicals, helping nature as much as we can.

Have a go at spring lawn care - we’ll be working on our chapel lawns using traditional manual techniques as well as using more modern machinery to both scarify and aerate the lawns, getting them ready for the summer ahead. Learn how to give nature a helping hand by caring for your lawns and other grassy areas well. Drop in from 11am to 12.45pm and from 1.45pm to 3.30pm. Normal admission applies. NT members free.

Wednesday 2 May
Help us plant a carpet of snowdrops. This little bulb is held very dearly by many of us who see it as the awakening of a garden after winter. Join us to help plant a carpet of 10,000 bulbs that will flower year-on-year at the end of every winter. You can dedicate your planting to a loved one by signing our memorial book, creating a lasting memory in the Chapel grounds to be enjoyed by visitors for years to come. Drop in from 11am to 12.45pm and from 1.45pm to 3.30pm. Normal admission applies. NT members free.

Thursday 3 May
