Gardening Week at Grayshott

Come and join in with our range of events promoting community gardening as part of our gardening week

A total of seven events has been co-ordinated by Grayshott Parish Council in North East Hampshire, to promote community gardening. Activities include: tree planting, a guided walk, school gardening, a horticultural show, a children’s egg hunt and a meet and greet for local gardening groups. All activities are free.

Grayshott gardening week 10–13 April 2017

Monday 10 April

10am - Grayshott School Garden Tidy Up 12noon - Ceremonial Tree Planting, Headley Road (near Sainsburys).

Tuesday 11 April

10am - Village Garden Spring Clean: bring gardening gloves and small tools to help weed and tidy community areas. (Meet at Headley Road Car Park).

Wednesday 12 April

10am – Children’s Easter Egg Hunt: meet Lyndon Green Children’s Play area. For children under 12 years - must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

10.30am–12.30pm - Meet your Parish Council with a coffee and a chat at Grayshott Village Hall. Also in attendance - Grayshott Gardeners Club, Village Allottmenteers and the Hidden Gardens of Grayshott (Open Gardens Event).

Thursday 13 April

10am - Historic Trees Guided Walk: a 90 minute guided walk around the village. Pre-booking required. (Meet on the Village Green).
